Herbstia condyliata (Fabricius, 1787) is a species of crab that belongs to the family Epialtidae. This crab is very widespread, and can be found across the entire Mediterranean Sea, as well as in the western Atlantic from the north of the Gulf of Guinea to the Cantabrian Sea. It may also occur in the Canary Islands, Madeira, and the Azores. Its natural habitats include rocky and coralligenous bottoms, and it can also live in caves. When living in caves, it stays inside the cave during the day and leaves at night to forage for food.
