Hemerocallis minor Mill. has the common names dwarf daylily, grassleaf lily, and small daylily. It is native to northern Asia, specifically Siberia, Mongolia, China, and Korea. This plant grows to a maximum height of 0.5 meters. It produces wide, yellow, scentless flowers. It is a hermaphroditic species, pollinated by insects including honey bees. In China, the flowers of this plant are eaten as a traditional food.
