About Helminthoglypta sequoicola (J.G.Cooper, 1866)

Helminthoglypta sequoicola, commonly known as the redwood shoulderband snail, is a North American species of air-breathing land snail. Two subspecies are currently recognized for this species. The first is Helminthoglypta sequoicola consors, described by S.S. Berry in 1938; this subspecies was previously classified as Helminthoglypta dupetithouarsi consors. The second recognized subspecies is Helminthoglypta sequoicola sequoicola, originally described by J. G. Cooper in 1866.
