Helix cincta O.F.Müller, 1774 is a gastropod species that belongs to the family Helicidae. This species currently has a disjunctive distribution, split across four separate areas of occurrence. It is native to Syria or adjacent parts of Turkey, and it was almost certainly introduced to the other regions where it lives today. These introduced regions are Cyprus, western Anatolia, the eastern Aegean islands, and northeastern Italy along with the northern Adriatic coast as far south as Dalmatia.
