Helcystogramma hibisci is a species of moth that belongs to the family Gelechiidae. It was first described by Stainton in 1859. It has been recorded from multiple regions: China (specifically Anhui, Guizhou, Hong Kong, Hubei, Xizang, and Zhejiang), Taiwan, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Indonesia (specifically Sumatra and Java), and Australia, where it is found in the Northern Territory and Queensland. This moth has a wingspan of around 15 millimetres. Its forewings are pale brown with a dark brown pattern. The larvae of Helcystogramma hibisci feed on plant species in the genera Hibiscus (including Hibiscus heterophyllus) and Abelmoschus.
