Helcystogramma fernaldella, commonly known as Fernald's helcystogramma moth, is a species of moth belonging to the family Gelechiidae. It was first described by August Busck in 1903. This moth is native to North America, with confirmed records ranging from Alaska, Yukon, and Alberta, extending east across Canada and the northern United States to New Brunswick and New England. It inhabits open grassy environments including fields, meadows, and grasslands. The wingspan of adult moths measures between 16 and 18 millimeters. Adult individuals are most active on the wing from May through July. The larvae of this species feed on a variety of grasses. Helcystogramma fernaldella overwinters in its larval stage.
