Halgerda tessellata is a species of sea slug that belongs to the group of dorid nudibranchs. It is a shell-less marine gastropod mollusk classified in the family Discodorididae. This species was originally described based on material from Palau. Its recorded range extends from the western shores of the Indian Ocean (covering Kenya, Tanzania, and Madagascar) to southeastern Australia and the Mariana Islands in the Pacific Ocean.
