Halgerda indotessellata is a species of sea slug, specifically a dorid nudibranch. It is a shell-less marine gastropod mollusk that belongs to the family Discodorididae. This species was first described based on a single specimen collected at Paindane, Mozambique, at coordinates 24.224167°S 35.428333°E, from a depth of 20–25 m (66–82 ft). In the Indian Ocean, specimens of this species have frequently been misidentified as Halgerda tessellata, a species that is native to the Pacific Ocean.
