About Haemopsalta aktites (Ewart, 1989)

Haemopsalta aktites, first formally described by Ewart in 1989, has a forewing length ranging from 14 to 17 millimetres. This species is distributed along the eastern Australian coast, spanning from Great Keppel Island in Central Queensland south to Congo, New South Wales. It primarily inhabits coastal sheoak woodland, which is almost always located within 50 metres of the beach. Less commonly, it can also be found in dune grass areas or mangroves.
