About Habrosyne gloriosa (Guenée, 1852)

This species has the scientific name Habrosyne gloriosa (Guenée, 1852). Its wingspan measures approximately 37 mm. Adult Habrosyne gloriosa are very similar in appearance to Habrosyne scripta, but can be distinguished by the sharp angle located near the middle of their antemedian line. Adults of this species are active on the wing from April to September, and produce two generations per year. The specific host plants for Habrosyne gloriosa larvae are currently unknown, but they are presumed to feed on species in the genera Rubus and Physocarpus.
