About Graphium androcles (Boisduval, 1836)
Graphium androcles (Boisduval, 1836) has a wingspan of 80–120 millimetres (3.1–4.7 inches), and females are larger than males. The base of its forewings is white with three parallel diagonal black stripes. The outer half of the forewings is black, and crossed by two thin white stripes. Its hindwings are white, with black markings along the lower margin. The underside of the wings is similar in pattern to the upperside, but the white areas are partially greenish. The hindwings end in a very long tail, which is the longest tail of any species in its family. The body of Graphium androcles is black, with white markings on the sides of the abdomen. This species can be found in Indonesia, on Sulawesi and the Sula Islands.
