About Grammodes ocellata Tepper, 1890
Grammodes ocellata, commonly known as the large-eyed box-owlet, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. It was first formally described by J. G. O. Tepper in 1890. This species is found in the northern half of Australia. It has an approximate wingspan of 40 millimeters. The larvae of Grammodes ocellata feed on the plant Phyllanthus maderaspatanus.
