About Goniobranchus sinensis (Rudman, 1985)

Goniobranchus sinensis is a chromodorid nudibranch. It has a semi-translucent white mantle with a coloured margin: starting from the inner part of the margin, there is first a yellow band, followed by a red marginal band, with a narrow opaque white band at the outermost edge of the mantle. Both the rhinophores and gills of this species are cherry red. Fully grown individuals reach a maximum body length of 20 mm. This marine species was originally described from specimens collected in Hong Kong. It is also known to occur in Japan, and has been reported from Indonesia and Malaysia.
