About Goggia hewitti (Branch, Bauer & Good, 1995)

Goggia hewitti can reach a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 28–35 mm (1.1–1.4 in). If the tail is original, it is slightly longer than the snout-to-vent length; if regenerated, it is shorter than the SVL. The dorsal surface of the body is light brown with darker brown markings, while the ventral surface is pale cream. Males of this species have four preanal pores. Goggia hewitti reproduces via oviparity. Females lay clutches of two eggs, each measuring 9 mm × 5.5 mm (0.35 in × 0.22 in), and eggs are deposited under rock flakes.
