About Goeppertia warszewiczii (Lem.) Borchs. & S.Suárez

Goeppertia warszewiczii, previously scientifically named Calathea warscewiczii, is a perennial herbaceous plant species that belongs to the Marantaceae family. This species is endemic to Costa Rica and Nicaragua. It reaches a height of 0.5 to 1 meters (20 to 40 inches) and a width of 0.5 to 1 meters (20 to 40 inches). It produces patterned lanceolate leaves, and white cone-shaped inflorescences that change color to yellow or pink as they fade.
