Goeppertia veitchiana (Veitch ex Hook.f.) Borchs. & S.Suárez, with the synonym Calathea veitchiana, is a flowering plant species that belongs to the Marantaceae family. This species is endemic to Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. In 1862, Victorian plant collector Richard Pearce discovered this plant near Cuenca. It was named to honour Pearce's employers, James Veitch & Sons.
