Goeppertia loeseneri, which has the synonym Calathea loeseneri and common name Brazilian star calathea, is a plant species in the Marantaceae family. This species is native to Peru, northern Brazil, Colombia, and Ecuador. It can reach a height of 1.2 meters, or 4 feet. Outside its native range, Goeppertia loeseneri is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant for its star-shaped pink flowers.
