The yellow-headed goby, with the scientific name Gobius xanthocephalus Heymer & Zander, 1992, is a species of goby. It is native to the eastern Atlantic Ocean, ranging from northern Spain to Madeira and the Canary Islands, and is also found in the Mediterranean Sea. It inhabits inshore waters at depths between 1 metre (3.3 ft) and 22 metres (72.2 ft), and typically lives under stones. This species can reach a total length of 10 centimetres (3.9 in).
