The striped goby, with the scientific name Gobius vittatus, is a species of goby native to the Mediterranean Sea. It lives on coralline grounds at depths ranging from 15 to 85 metres (which is 49 to 279 feet), though it is typically not found deeper than 50 metres (160 feet). This species can grow to a length of 5.8 centimetres (2.3 inches) in standard length, and it is available in the aquarium trade.
