The slender goby, scientifically named Gobius geniporus, is a species of goby that is found only in the Mediterranean Sea. It lives in inshore waters up to around 30 metres (98 ft) deep. It inhabits regions with sandy or muddy substrates that are located near sea-grass beds. This species can grow to a total length of 16 centimetres (6.3 in).
