About Glyphidocera juniperella

Glyphidocera juniperella, commonly known as the juniper tip moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Autostichidae. It is native to North America, and has been specifically recorded in the US states of Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia. The forewings of this moth measure 7 to 8.5 millimeters in length. Adult Glyphidocera juniperella are active and able to be seen in flight from March through October. The larvae of this species feed on Juniperus horizontalis.
