Glycythyma chrysorycta is a moth species that belongs to the family Crambidae. This species was originally described by Edward Meyrick in 1884. Its recorded distribution includes India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, and Australia, where it has only been documented from Queensland. This moth has an approximate wingspan of 17 millimeters. Adult individuals of this species are yellow in color and have wavy brown lines across their wings. The active flight period of adult Glycythyma chrysorycta occurs from June to July.
