Geranium palustre L. is a perennial flowering plant species in the Geraniaceae family. Its native distribution spans from Europe to Southwestern Siberia and the Caucasus. This plant has leaves divided into 5 to 7 lobes. It produces large, bright magenta flowers that measure 3 cm in diameter; each flower has a white centre and five petals marked with veins.
