About Geranium californicum G.N.Jones & F.F.Jones

Geranium californicum G.N.Jones & F.F.Jones is a perennial herb that reaches a maximum height of half a meter. It produces thin, hairy stems that bear many wide, palmate leaves. Each leaf is divided into several segments, which are further split into small lobes. Flowers grow either singly or in pairs on small stalks. Every flower has five pointed sepals positioned beneath five petals that are rounded to oval in shape, and the petals may have shallow notches at their ends. The petals can grow up to 1.5 centimeters long, and range in color from white to pale pink or lavender, with darker lavender veining.
