Genista pilosa, commonly called hairy greenweed, silkyleaf broom, silkyleaf woadwaxen, and creeping broom, is a plant species that belongs to the genus Genista. This species grows 30 to 45 centimeters (12 to 18 inches) tall, and has green stems. It produces yellowish flowers that grow in groups of 1 to 3 pairs. It grows in poor, dry, sandy, and stony soils across western and central Europe.
