Gelechia sestertiella is a moth species belonging to the family Gelechiidae. This species was described by Gottlieb August Wilhelm Herrich-Schäffer in 1854, with the accepted scientific name Gelechia sestertiella Heydenreich, 1851. It is distributed across Norway, Sweden, Finland, France, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, the Baltic region, Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia. This moth has a wingspan measuring 13–14 mm. Adult individuals have been recorded in flight from July to August. The larvae of Gelechia sestertiella feed on Acer platanoides and Acer campestre.
