Gekko hokouensis Pope, 1928 is a species of gecko, commonly called the Hokou gecko or Kwangsi gecko. Its distribution range covers eastern China, Taiwan, the Ryukyu Islands, and Kyushu Island of Japan. Because it has a large distribution, the IUCN has assessed this species as Least Concern. In some parts of its range, the invasive common house gecko Hemidactylus frenatus may present a threat to this species.
