Gehyra australis Gray, 1845, commonly called the Australian house gecko, northern dtella or top-end dtella, is a species of gecko. It is native to northern and eastern Australia, and is also widespread across Indonesia, where it occurs alongside common house geckos and four-clawed geckos. This species is primarily arboreal, and inhabits woodlands as well as coastal and riverine forests. It can also be found living near human dwellings and gardens. Gehyra australis is an oviparous species.
