Gastrodes grossipes, commonly known as the pine cone bug, is a species of true bug. It is distributed across most of Europe, excluding the far northern regions of the continent. To the east, its range extends through Asia Minor and the Caucasus, then continues across the Palearctic realm into Siberia. Its known food plant is Scots pine.
