About Galasa nigrinodis Zeller, 1873

Galasa nigrinodis, commonly known as the boxwood leaftier moth or boxwood webworm, is a species of moth in the family Pyralidae. This species is found in eastern North America. Adults of this moth have a wingspan ranging from 13 to 20 mm. Adult Galasa nigrinodis are active and on wing from June through September. The larvae feed on the leaves of Buxus species; they tie together dead leaves of their host plant and feed on those dead leaves.
