About Gagea minima (L.) Ker Gawl.
Gagea minima, commonly called the least gagea, is a Eurasian plant species belonging to the lily family. It has an extensive native range: it occurs across much of south-central, southeastern, central and northern Europe, including Italy, Germany, and Scandinavia, and extends eastward into European Russia. Additional populations of the species are found in the Caucasus region. Gagea minima is a bulb-forming perennial herb that grows up to 20 cm tall. Its flowers are bright lemon yellow; the underside of the tepals is sometimes green.
