Gagea lacaitae A.Terracc. is a species of flowering plant in the lily family, found across Mediterranean and Black Sea regions. Its native range includes Spain (including the Balearic Islands), France (including Corsica), Italy (covering Abruzzo and Sicily), Morocco, and Algeria. It is a bulb-forming herbaceous plant that produces yellow flowers. This species is named after Charles Carmichael Lacaita, a British botanist and politician who lived from 1853 to 1933.
