About Gagea fragifera (Vill.) E.Bayer & G.López

This species, which is currently treated as Gagea fragifera (Vill.) E.Bayer & G.López, was previously referenced under the name Gagea liotardii. It is a species of plant in the lily family, found across Eurasia and North Africa. It is a bulb-forming perennial herb that grows up to 15 centimeters tall. Its flowers are typically bright yellow to yellow-green. Its native range extends from Spain and Morocco in the west to Mongolia in the east.
