Gagea bulbifera (Pall.) Salisb. is a Eurasian plant species belonging to the lily family. Its range extends widely from Romania to Xinjiang, and it is native to Romania, Russia (including North Caucasus, West Siberia Krai, and Altay Krai), South Caucasus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Turkey, Xinjiang, and the Western Himalayas. This species is a bulb-forming perennial herb that can grow up to 60 cm tall. Its flowers are yellow, with green coloring on the back of each tepal.
