Gadirtha impingens is a moth in the Nolidae family. It was first described by Francis Walker in 1858. Its distribution ranges from northern India and southern China to Queensland, the Bismarck Archipelago, and the Solomon Islands, and it can also be found in Japan, specifically on Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, and Tsushima. This moth inhabits lowland areas up to 2,600 meters in elevation, and is most commonly found between 1,000 and 2,000 meters. The larvae of Gadirtha impingens feed on plant species belonging to the genera Sapium and Stillingia.
