Furcula bicuspis, commonly known as the alder kitten, is a moth species belonging to the family Notodontidae. It was first formally described by Moritz Balthasar Borkhausen in 1790. This species is distributed across most of the Palearctic realm. It has a wingspan ranging from 30 to 35 millimeters. Adult moths are active in flight from May to July, with the exact timing varying by location. The larvae of this moth feed on species in the genus Betula, as well as Alnus glutinosa.
