The white-browed fulvetta has the scientific name Fulvetta vinipectus (Hodgson, 1837). It is a bird species that belongs to the family Paradoxornithidae. Just like other typical fulvettas, this species was long classified in the genus Alcippe of the Timaliidae family, or placed within the Sylviidae family. It ranges across the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia, and is endemic to Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is temperate forests.
