About Frullania asagrayana Mont.

Frullania asagrayana is reddish-brown in color, and grows tightly attached to its growing substrate. Its leaves are split into two lobes. The lower lobe is a smaller, sac-shaped structure connected to the base of the upper lobe by a narrow narrowed section. This sac-shaped structure can hold water, and may act as a structure that stores water for extended periods of time.
