About Forsythia koreana (Rehder) Nakai
Forsythia koreana (Rehder) Nakai, commonly known as gaenari (Hangul:개나리) or Korean goldenbell tree, is a plant species that belongs to the olive family, Oleaceae. This species grows to approximately 3 meters (9.8 feet) in height. Its leaves are oval-shaped with toothed edges, and measure 3–12 cm (1.2–4.7 in) long. The upper surface of the leaf is dark green, while the lower surface is dark blue, and both sides of the leaf are hairless.
