About Ferulago galbanifera (Mill.) W.D.J.Koch
Ferulago galbanifera is a perennial herb that can reach a height between 50 and 120 centimetres, or 20 to 47 inches. It has a branching stem, along with repeatedly pinnate leaves that are ovate-triangular, petiolate, and 30 to 60 centimetres long. This plant produces large, flat, yellow inflorescences that have a diameter of 6 to 18 centimetres. Each flower has five yellow, nearly rounded petals that curve inward at the top. It blooms between July and August. Its fruits are oblong obovate and 12 to 20 millimetres long. This species is distributed across the Mediterranean area, ranging from Morocco to Turkey and extending eastward to southern European Russia. It grows in dry meadows, cliffs, rocky, and calcareous areas, at elevations from sea level up to 900 metres, or 0 to 2953 feet above sea level.
