Felimare porterae is a colorful blue dorid nudibranch found along the Pacific coast of North America from California to Baja California.

About Felimare porterae (Cockerell, 1901)

Felimare porterae has a dark blue mantle with a white margin. Bright yellow bands run down the sides of the mantle, from the bases of the rhinophores all the way to the gill pocket. A light blue line runs along the middle of the back. This species was first described from rockpools at La Jolla, California. It has been reported across a range stretching from Monterey Bay, California, south to Bahía Tortugas, Baja California, Mexico.
