About Felimare fontandraui (Pruvot-Fol, 1951)
Felimare fontandraui is a species of nudibranch. Individuals of this species typically have a blue to purple body, with yellow lines running along their sides and a single yellow-cream line along the upper dorsum. Light blue streaks are often present on the upper dorsum near the mantle edge. The mantle has an orange edge, and the gills and rhinophores are black-purple. There is considerable color variation across members of this species. This nudibranch can grow to a total length of at least 30 millimeters. It has been observed feeding on yellow sponges that belong to the genus Dysidea. This species is distributed in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean and the Western Mediterranean Sea.
