About Felimare cantabrica (Bouchet & Ortea, 1981)

Felimare cantabrica is a species of nudibranch with a body patterned in light and dark blue, flecked with yellow lines and spots. Its mantle edge has a distinct banding pattern of yellow, light blue, and yellow. The gills and rhinophores of this species are purple. Felimare cantabrica can grow to a total length of at least 40 millimeters. It has been observed feeding on sponges that belong to the genus Dysidea. This nudibranch occurs in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean, specifically in the Bay of Biscay, and along the Atlantic coasts of Spain and Portugal.
