Calypogeia azurea Stotler & Crotz
Calypogeia azurea Stotler & Crotz
Based on Söderström et al. (2002), Algerian reports of C. trichomanis auct. are attributed to C. azurea, but the presence and distribution of this species complex in Algeria are doubtful as C. trichomanis may include other species.
Calypogeia fissa (L.) Raddi
Calypogeia fissa (L.) Raddi
Calypogeia fissa, an old name in Calypogeia, is likely restricted to Europe, with C. neogaea replacing it in North America and NW amphi - Pacific; records in East Asia may be misidentifications, and in Europe, it has two genetically distinct taxa needing revision.
Calypogeia muelleriana (Schiffn.) Müll.Frib.
Calypogeia muelleriana (Schiffn.) Müll.Frib.
The presence of Calypogeia muelleriana in Algeria is doubtful; Bischler (2004) reported a previous record but no published reports exist, and it may be based on old C. trichomanis reports as some revised African records belong to it (Bischler, 1970).
