Fallopia scandens, commonly called climbing false buckwheat, is a species in the genus Fallopia native to North America. It is a herbaceous perennial plant that reaches a height of 1–5 m (3–16 ft). When blooming, the plants are semi-erect, but once they begin producing fruit, they hang downward from their pedicels. Both its flowers and fruits have a greenish-white appearance.
