Euthycera chaerophylli (Fabricius, 1798) is a species of fly. Adults of this species reach an approximate body length of 10 millimetres, or 0.39 inches. It has a slender body, a yellowish head, and prominent reddish eyes. Its gray thorax bears four lines of brown spots, while its yellowish antennae point forward. The wings are patterned with mottled greyish spots. This species is distributed across most of Europe and the Near East.
