About Euryops chrysanthemoides (DC.) B.Nord.
Euryops chrysanthemoides (DC.) B.Nord. is a compact, densely branched, leafy evergreen shrub that grows 0.5 to 2 meters tall. Its leaves have a smooth, green surface. Based on chromosome count evidence, this species was reclassified from the genus Gamolepis to the genus Euryops. This species is native to southern Africa, where its range extends from the Eastern Cape (occurring both along the coast and inland) northward to KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, and Eswatini. It typically grows on forest edges, in riverine bush, in ravines, in coastal scrub, in grassland, and in disturbed areas. It grows as a ruderal weed in New South Wales, though it is not invasive in all locations where it is cultivated or has become naturalized.
