Euryopis funebris (Hentz, 1850) is a species of cobweb spider belonging to the family Theridiidae. It is native to the United States and Canada, and has been introduced to South Africa. In its introduced range of South Africa, the species has been recorded from the Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape, and Western Cape provinces. Documented notable locations for the species in South Africa include Addo Elephant National Park, iSimangaliso Wetland Park, and Kogelberg Nature Reserve. This ground-dwelling spider lives across a wide range of altitudes, from 1 meter to 1444 meters above sea level. It is associated with ants, and individuals have been collected via pitfall traps in the Fynbos, Grassland, Indian Ocean Coastal Belt, Savanna, and Thicket biomes.
