About Eurrhyparodes splendens Druce, 1895

Eurrhyparodes splendens, first described by Druce in 1895, has an approximate wingspan of 19 mm. Its forewings are dark brown, crossed by three fine wavy yellowish-white lines. The third line, the outer margin, and a portion of the inner margin are bordered by a metallic steel-blue band. The hindwings are crossed by two yellowish-white lines that run from the costal margin to the inner margin, and they also have a third wavy yellowish-white line. Both the outer and inner margins of the hindwings are bordered with metallic steel blue. Adult Eurrhyparodes splendens have been recorded on wing in July, September, and December.
