About Euprionocera geminipuncta Turner, 1896

Euprionocera geminipuncta is a moth that belongs to the family Depressariidae. It is the only species in the monotypic genus Euprionocera. This species was described by Alfred Jefferis Turner in 1896. It is found in Australia, with recorded occurrences in New South Wales. Its wingspan measures approximately 27 mm. The forewings are light pink in color, with rows of very small dark grey dots running along the veins, plus a small blackish subdorsal dot near the wing base. The discal stigmata are blackish; the first is moderately sized, while the second is large. The hindwings are pale pink, with a whitish suffusion in the anterior portion.
